Selling your beats at TheBeatTrader.com is easy! Follow these 4 easy steps
below to begin.
Step 1.
Signup at TheBeatTrader.com, or
login
to your account.
Step 2.
Click the
sell beats link at the top.
Step 3.
Fill out the form with information about the beat you wish to upload, including
the name, genre, tempo, price, and description.
You can always edit any of this information after the beat is already uploaded.
Step 4.
Select the location on your computer where the .MP3 file of the beat resides.
All .MP3 files uploaded to TheBeatTrader.com must be encoded at 128kbps or
higher.
Once you have uploaded a few beats, it will be very easy for you to add more
beats to your profile.
All new members receive
2 free upload credits. The cost to purchase
additional upload credits to list your beats are as follows:
1 Upload Credit - $2.00
4 Upload Credits - $7.00
10 Upload Credits - $15.00
All uploads (listings) will run for 90 days. If you wish to run your listing
for an additional 90 days, you can re-list your beat at the cost of 1 upload
credit.
There are no monthly fees to join or browse, however there is a 20% service
charge for all beat sales through TheBeatTrader.com. Commissions are paid once
a week through PayPal's Mass Pay system, which eliminates any fees you are
responsible for. You receive the full 80% of your beat sales.
